Pen Duick Saililng Yacht Ship Model
Built in 1898, the regatta cutter Pen Duick was one of the most beautiful
sailing yachts. She was abandoned after running aground in the muddy
flats of the Loire. She was rescued by the legendary sailor, Eric Tabarly. On
June 14, 1998, the same year that PEN DUICK reached its hundredth
birthday, Eric Tabarly and the other sailors aboard the Pen Duick were lost
off the southeast coast of Wales on that stormy night. This nautical ship
model is 26"(long) x 36"(tall) x 5"(wide).
